The Master Kuo G-5 3XL Taiwan Tuna Knife is a really big – but not the biggest! This blade is used to cut the fins and head off of large fish, quartering them, and sectioning the golden triangles into steaks. Its unique design facilitates an effective technique—initiating the cut by pressing the heel of the blade into the fish, followed by a smooth rolling motion to complete the task. The curved blade is used to “zip” through the fish, making lateral slices.

Knife Care Instructions:
- Clean with warm water and soap.
- Towel dry immediately after cleaning.
- Avoid dishwasher use.
- The stainless-clad outer steel resists rust, but the exposed SK5 core edge steel may develop surface rust over time.
- Surface rust can typically be removed by sharpening the edge.
