The Master Kuo G-5 2XL Taiwan Tuna Knife is a pretty big tuna knife designed for handling large fish. The blade’s curved shape allows for smooth, long lateral cuts on big fish.
This knife features a 3-layered laminated steel construction. The outer layers are made of stainless steel, providing durability and resistance to rust, while the inner core is traditional Japanese High Carbon SK5 steel with a RC hardness of 60-61.

Master Kuo knives are some of the sharpest factory sharp knives we’ve ever seen, but they are capable of even more after our professional sharpening services. We recommend the 2000 and 5000 Grit services for this knife. You can also add a custom made leather sheath.
Knife care: Keep clean with warm water and soap. Towel dry immediately. Do not put into dishwasher. Stainless clad outer steel will not rust, but exposed SK5 core edge steel can show signs of surface rust over time. Most surface rust can be removed by sharpening the edge.
