Our assessment of the Jende IP65 Waterproof Digital Angle Cube included a unique test, where we submerged it in a basin of water for over a minute—a trial that yielded intriguing results (view the video here). Initially, we observed the cube’s tendency to right itself, initially attributing it to the table’s possible magnetic pull beneath the water-filled vessel. However, it soon became evident that the cube exhibited unexpected buoyancy. To further explore this phenomenon, we conducted a subsequent test in a deeper water container, and to our surprise, the angle cube floated effortlessly.
This remarkable buoyancy owes itself to the cube’s exceptional design—specifically, its dust-tight and watertight seal. This sealing mechanism effectively traps air within the cube, counterbalancing its weight and allowing it to ascend to the water’s surface. Notably, this feature safeguards numerous angle cubes from accidental submersion and ensures that the watertight seal remains resilient even under heightened water pressure at greater depths.
The functionality demonstrated in this test underscores the practicality and reliability of the Jende IP56 Waterproof Digital Angle Cube, offering a solution that prevents inadvertent damage and maintains performance integrity in various environments.
