The 1×6 Sharpening Stone King 1K is a tried and true standard full size stone in the kitchen known for its good results at an economical price. Now it’s available for the Edge Pro in 1″x6″ and 1/4″ thick with mounting to a standard aluminum blank, adding yet another option to the already versatile system.
The King 1K is a softer stone, and is used with water. It has cutting power while it’s paste/mud is utilized to squeeze out a slightly finer finish than advertised in it’s grit. The real benefit to Edge Pro users is the stone’s ability to remove the deeper diamond stone scratches to prepare, leave a basic working edge, or to further refine with other accessory stones, films, or strops.
