Yes, the Hard Translucent Arkansas Stone is indeed translucent. We’ve conducted few tests to confirm this characteristic.
To demonstrate its translucency, we turned off the lights and used a flashlight. Even with the flashlight aimed at a 1/2″ thick stone, the light passed through clearly, showcasing its translucent nature.
Even when the lights were turned on, the flashlight beam remained visible through the Hard Translucent Arkansas Stone, further affirming its translucence.
In contrast, we selected a 1/2″ thick Hard Arkansas Stone from our inventory to demonstrate that not all stones are translucent. While still a fine stone, the light did not pass through it at all.
