Made from high quality Japanese steel hardened to Rockwell 58-60, the edge on the blade very strong, yet durable. Each professional reed knife is polished and hand sharpened to perfection using the Dime-Nickel Sharpening method from the Jende Book of Sharpening, which includes using the Jende edge tester and Jende Folding Steel to personalize the burr to be right handed, left handed, or a straight burr.
Each knife comes standard with a brown leather sheath, but you can also choose which color sheath you’d like.
