The Jende Folding Steel for Oboe and Bassoon Reed Knives from the Jende Reed Knife Maintenance Kit is used to prolong the life of a burr without sharpening. It also personalizes the position of the burr after sharpening in order to make every scrape more effective. The folding steel works on all reed knives sharpened to any grit, and comes with a custom sheath and detailed instructions for use.
