The Jende Double Sided Paddle Strop Rough & Smooth Cow Leather features a 10mm, 3/8″ thick laminated bamboo wood paddle with rough cow leather strop on one side and smooth cow leather strop on the other. Traditionally, the rough (suede) side of the strop is loaded with our Aluminum Oxide compound, Chromium Oxide compound, or our Jende Poly Diamond Sprays and Emulsions. Â The smooth leather side can be left clean or loaded with an emulsion, spray or compound as well. This 2 sided Paddle Strop configuration is ideal for straight razors, knives of all kinds, chisels and plane blades and scissors. The laminated strips of sustainable bamboo create a stable and solid platform for stropping.
