The Suehiro Stones Gokumyo 10K stone is the first polishing grit in the Gokumyo series, and is meant for final polishing and edge maintenance. The Gokumyo Series sharpening stones are made with a unique combination of ultra-fine abrasives and binders which overcome the drawbacks of conventional natural and resin based whetstones. Custom cut to 1’x6″ and 5mm thick, it comes mounted to a standard blank and fits the Jende JIGS, Hapstone, Edge Pro, TSProf guided sharpening systems, and with the Wicked Edge Uni Stone Holder Paddles.
These stones are meant to be used with water only, and will benefit from a quick soak before use. All stones will dish, and we recommend using the Jende Glass Lapping plate or the Jende Diamond Lapping Plate to keep your stones clean and flat over time.
