The Jende 2 sided Rough & Smooth Cow Leather paddle strop features a 10mm, 3/8" thick acacia wood paddle with rough cow leather on one side and smooth cow leather on the other. Traditionally, the rough (suede) side of the strop is loaded with our Aluminum Oxide compound, Chromium Oxide compound, or our Jende Poly Diamond Sprays and Emulsions. The smooth leather side can be left clean or loaded with an emulsion.
This configuration of paddle strop is ideal for straight razors, knives of all kinds, chisels and plane blades and scissors.
