Famed sword maker Kuo Chang-Hsi (郭常喜) is perhaps best known for forging the Green Destiny Sword for the 2000 movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. But it is this 3rd generation sword makers use of actual human bones in the forging process that turned heads long before the movie.
