Jende Industries is proud to carry a multitude of Sigma stones for the KME Sharpener! Sigma's stones come in a wide range of grits, and have economical, mid level, and premium level stones to suite any budget. Stone sizes are 1"x4"x 6mm and will fit into any KME Sharpener, butan also be used a field stones, slip stones, and even slurry stones.

The Sigma Select II are Sigma's premium ceramic stone line, with fast cutting and polishing action, and range from 240 grit to 13K. The Sigma Ceramic stones are the mid-range ceramic stones, which still perform with great speed and accuracy, but limit their grit range to the most commonly used 1K-2K area. The Sigma 1K Oribest and the Sigma 1K B stones are Sigma's economical stones, but only in price, not in performance. They make great working sharp edges, and are the perfect transition stone from coarser grits.

Sigma Stones are all meant to be used with water only, and require a quick 1-2 minute soak before use. To optimize the effects of these stones, keeping the stone free of swarf will give them slightly more aggression while allowing a paste to form will maximize the finish. When utilizing the paste, don't let it get too thick - keep it viscous with a couple drops of water.
