This is a vintage 5/8 Karnak More Co., St. Louis, MO.
Karnaks are simply amazing shavers. They are some of the last forged vintage razors out there, and in our experience with them, they are best described as smooth as silk. Think of it as a cross between an awesome Sheffield and a Japanese Tamahagane blade.
This blade is 5/8, with a rounded, French tip. There are minimal light patina marks on the blade and spine that are consistent with a vintage straight. The scales are slighly bowed, as shown in the pictures above, but do not interfere with the opening and closing of the blade. The overall condition is described as " very good". This was honed with 1 layer of tape.
