The Master Kuo Chinese Slicing Cleaver F10 is the iconic knife that professional Asian cuisine chefs use almost exclusively. It is designed for slicing and chopping vegetables and boneless meats. The large flat blade is used for smashing garlic and for scooping up the cut food.

Kuo Chang-Shi 郭長喜 is most famous for forging the original Green Sword of Destiny from the 2000 movie “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”. His Damascus steel designs incorporate human bones and ashes to imbibe the spirit into the piece, as well as to add some elemental strength to the steel (such as manganese and phosphorus), which is based on historical accounts in ancient Chinese sword making.
