The unique design of the QMA-2 Maestro Wu 8″ Hybrid Style Damascus Chef Knife combines a rounded tip of a carving knife, the tapered body of a Japanese Gyuto style chef knife, and the height of a Chinese slicer. The pronounced curvature of the tip gives more leverage and height on Western style rocking cuts, and the wider blade gives more clearance to cut taller vegetables. This knife may look a little different, but once you use it, it all makes complete sense. This knife features a striking “Wild Damascus” pattern blade, and an ergonomic handle. This knife with a Woodgrain damascus patterned blade can be found here.

One of the most unique and functional blade designs I’ve ever used. It handles rocking cuts beautifully while still offering the precision and versatility of a Japanese chef knife. The Wild Damascus pattern is absolutely stunning.
