Who is Master Kuo and why are his knives famous?
Kuo Chang-Shi (郭常喜) is a renowned Taiwanese bladesmith who is known internationally for making the original Green Destiny Sword for the 2000 movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. He interest in ancient Chinese forging techniques and weapons can be seen throughout his works, and because his shop is located in a fishing boat harbor, he also makes some serious Taiwan Tuna Knives.
